When we decide to breed a Marsal Setter or Pointer it is to improve on certain characteristics that are important to us such as nose, biddibility, natural abilities, and intelligence. We will keep puppies from each litter to work and train so we can evaluate their abilities. We do not breed to sell puppies but unfortunately we cannot keep them all so we will offer some up for sale.

The puppies pictured below are ready to go to their new homes. They are all nice dogs and would make awesome family pets or close working hunting buddies. We have kept a male out of this litter for ourselves. All of these pups have been on birds and introduced to gunfire. They are worked 5 times a week on commands (here, whoa, kennel and ok). They are worked twice a week on birds. So they are well on their way.

Marsal’s Setters is now offering a Trade Agreement as payment for a puppy or started dog. We will accept goods or services as payment in lieu of cash. (Goods or services must be equivalent to cash value of puppy or started dog).

Zoey is being bred to Randall Moore’s Doc. Zoey has been our lead setter gundog for a couple years now. She is super classy in the field, she is a real beauty to watch. She has a great personality and loves laying on the couch when she is not in the field. Doc is Randall’s main gundog he is hunted for hours on end in the mountains of West Virginia. He is hard going and is super classy with a high head and tail. His pedigree says it all he is out of Grouse Ridge Reroy and has Stillmeadow’s Jim on the bottom side it doesn’t get much better than that.

We are now accepting deposits for this litter.

Puppies for Sale

If you would like to reserve a puppy from the next litter please call or send me an email. A $200 non-refundable deposit will reserve a pup in the order in which it is received.

Puppies:

CASH or TRADE

Puppies will have been wormed and had their first set of shots before they leave the kennel.

Shipping can be arranged. Approximate shipping costs for airfare, health certificate, crate and transportation to airport $350.

We offer free gundog training for anyone who buys a Marsal puppy. You are invited to attend any of our train the trainer sessions and we can help you train your puppy to be a bragging rights gundog that you will be proud to own. (birds not included)

We Guarantee our dogs 100%:

• In good health and current on all vaccinations, which you will be required to keep up to date.
• Against any genetic defects (Hips, eyes, etc.)
• To be property socialized when they leave, which you are expected to continue
• To have even temperments and be very friendly
• To show natural abilities in the field such as hunt drive, pointing instinct, biddable

If at anytime you find that your puppy does not meet the Marsal’s standards you may return your puppy and we will give you a puppy from the next available litter.

Any shipping costs are to be paid by the buyer
